City girl and a charming stranger…so I thought.
A willed farm, a cozy town, and a weekend that changed my life.

A much-needed break from city life led me to the farm my uncle left for me.

The small town near his farm was beautiful.

Especially with snow falling gently around me.

Lost in the moment until I heard footsteps behind me.

Turning around, I saw an unfairly attractive man staring at me.

With no place to stay, he offered me a room at his place.

Staying with a stranger sounded ridiculous, but freezing in my car wasn’t an option.

His name is Anthony and seemed like a true gentleman.

But could he really be.

Surviving the first night, I began to feel safe.

The more time we spent together, the more we learned about each other.

Shocked to learn who he really was and embarrassed I didn’t recognize him.

As the weekend ended, I left my number. Hoping he’d call or text.

Memories from the amazing weekend made me miss the place.

If it weren’t for my uncle, I’d never have gone to that town and met Anthony.

My heart belongs to the farm, the town, and most of all to him. But I can’t make him want me back.
