An Enjoyable Short Adventure

I enjoyed listening to Scarlet and Sapphire. Xander Krivacka’s narration along with the sound effects brings the magical world to life, making it easy to get lost in Scarlet’s adventure.

The story has this fun mix of fairy tale vibes and wizardly intrigue, and the short format makes it a quick, engaging listen. I would have loved a bit more depth in some parts, but overall, it’s a charming, entertaining tale that kept me hooked from start to finish.

Perfect if you want something whimsical and magical without a huge time commitment.

Wish it was longer

I need to state before getting into this review that I was given this book through Booksprout. Now that has been stated, I can now get into the book review. There maybe spoilers in this review.

I listened to this book on Audible. It was a short listen, lasting 3 hours and 13 minutes. Which I think lends to the issue that this book feels rushed. I enjoy reading Fantasy. Truthfully, it feels like three stories mashed into one book.

The production of this book is good, but the story fell flat. There was so much going on that it was hard to keep up with. The book has likable characters and a good story. I just wish that the story were longer and into more parts.

There isn't much I can say about this book.

Short but good

Sometimes it was hard to keep up with the book because a lot was happening in a short period of time. It was well structured with likeable characters and complete. I would like to see what happends in the end of the series.

Fantasy

Scarlet and Sapphire by Kevin Kalu is a good short story fantasy. Xander Krivacka did a good job with the narration. The story is enjoyable, interesting and more. The story feels a little rushed, it needs a bit more depth to it but it’s a good read.

Scarlet and Sapphire

This audible book is great for anyone who loves witch and wizard wars. This a book my daughter would love.
It wasn’t a book for me but I truly did enjoy listening to it.
