Everything about this book is sooo very classic English!! The characters are so very controlled, so very patient and so very interesting. The narrator captures each perfectly. Although the reader is able to figure out the darkness of the plot early on, the journey to the end of the book is well worth the time.

Great Classic English Mystery!!!

The narrator has a pleasant if ponderous voice but the story is difficult You are continually told that you must first listen to this pedantic portion in order to understand the dramatic part. I had the whole thing figured out by the first death but I stuck with it because the book represents a genre of a certain era and I wanted to explore that era. Now I have done that
