A fairytale ending.

Good storyline to finish up the series. Enjoyed the narrator ability to create the different voices for each character.

This is book fourth and final book in the Surrender Series

Rafe's sister Rachel been taken against her will by the powerful King Adriano. King Adriano is better known to Rachel as Ian? This is one story in the series that links Rafe to King Adriano who has recently ascended the throne of Corinthia. Adriano and his brother, Gianni is out for revenge, for what he feels is rightfully his to claim. The kingdom he once renounced which then Adriano took.

Through all of this Rachel is pregnant and is so determined not to fall in love with the handsome king's plot to get to the altar before she can run again. Shane's gone on an undercover mission for his special-operations team leaving Lia heartbroken once again. Lia believes that the man she loves Shane has lied to her. Do Lia and Shane have a chance of reconciliation? Has Lia given up their happy ending?

Scorched book no 4 in this series was better than the last two. Same old story though to some of her other books. The man meets the woman wants to control her. He doesn't want to commit she won't stay if he doesn't love her
something happens to make him change his mind. The author uses this theme several times in her books. Getting sick of the male wanting control.
