Sea of Bones

Skye is back and on the trail of a serial killer! Bones begin to wash up along the Washington state coastline. Tests show they’re human. But when a torso shows up, then a head, then entire bodies, things really get weird—and people begin to get desperate. All show signs that the victims suffered. The catch is, these victims were frozen—some for years. Police think they’ve zeroed in on the right man. They’re wrapping things up in a neat, tidy package. But Skye isn’t so sure. Josh is more convinced. That is, until the killer begins to communicate, an email here, a letter there, a challenge delivered to their front door. It seems the killer is tired of getting ignored, tired of the police not getting it right. He wants credit for his crimes. And he’s upping the ante in a big way. If Skye and Josh fail to find the killer, the bodies will continue to mount, haunting the Seattle area until the next horrifying discovery. Is it someone they know? And will they be able to stop him?

While I have enjoyed the Skye Cree Series but once it moves to virtual voice it has taken away from enjoying the story. Words mispronounced...just sounds stilted and is annoying

Horrible, horrible horrible! (AI reading)

The story is the typical detective/thriller nonsense that we all love and cherish. Great plot and characters, however the AI narrator?? Absolutely insufferable. Stop doing this.

story was fun, AI narrator and insult to audiobooks

I really enjoyed the story and the adventure all the parties experienced. I hope to see in future stories the little girl expanding her psychic awareness.

On Audible there are so many really great voice over talent who work very hard to deliver a memorable experience. I will be more careful to avoid mechanical narration in future listens.

There is a place for AI in our lives, story narrative is not one of them.

Not digging the AI

Did not like the AI reading. Too many grammatical errors and mispronunciation and gaps or pauses that seemed to make the sentences choppy
