The year is 2025 Benjamin Arnold has been elected President of the United States. The country and the world are in turmoil from political, economic, and religious upheavals, along with the aftermath of the Covid-19 virus and other natural catastrophes. A mysterious trumpet sound heard by everyone, everywhere, the sudden disappearance of millions of people and all the children around the globe. There is only one plausible explanation, The Rapture, the snatching up to Heaven of those who are Born Again. Then the appearance of gigantic UFOs hovering over the major cities of the world, offering a message of peace and safety. Claiming they are responsible for the mass disappearances. This is a story of people’s lives and their relationships from different regions of the U.S. Their diverse backgrounds and how these events influence their lives, beliefs, and lifestyles, no one is unaffected.

AI not ready yet

It was very painful to listen to for the first several chapters. The voice isn't monotone, but pretty close. I am used to the reader changing voices to match the characters which makes listening easier to follow. This isn't the case with this narration so it was harder to follow who was saying what. The story itself was ok. Because it was so short, there was very little character development, but still a decent short read.

I am intrigued by this story

I didn't like the virtual voice, but this story is quite good. This is the best version of the rapture of the church. can't wait to listen to more.

great read!

the only thing I could complain about is that this book was not longer, hopefully more people will read it and see what's coming.
