Very good Christmas read

This short book had very realistic storyline of struggles of a single mother with a nearly absent father during the holidays. She’s trying to balance between what’s right for her daughter and what’s right for her. It gets even worse when the almost absent father shows up again. I really enjoyed the read. It was very quick.

Typical Hallmark plot which I was prepared for…

Seemed very forced at parts, but also feel that was the narrative. Overall, would not buy again, but nice option for that hallmark kick when you can’t watch.

What a cute wholesome story absolutely loved it. Definitely a holiday recommended book. Or if you love Christmas anytime of year ❤️💚

Happy ending…so needed!!!

This story was the feel good ending that we all desired. I did speed the pace up and started to enjoy the narration more.

very Hallmark Christmas movie

I'm usually not a fan of the Hallmark Christmas movies tropes but this was highly recommended so I gave it a shot. It was very forced given that they "met" after like a decade and then literally a "few days later" are engaged and then in a "6 months later" epilogue, they're moving into their dream house and she's pregnant. 🤷‍♀️ I should've known better.
