Fun story

I loved this book. It was so cute and the characters were great. I couldn’t wait to see what happened next.

A sweet second chance at love set in a small town. Whitney and Eli has been best friends and were starting to explore if there was more when Eli packed up and left. Now, 12 years later, can they try again, or are the past hurts to much to overcome?

This was my first Meg Easton Book, and I really enjoyed it. I’m excited to check out more of her work.

Courtney Lucien did a lovely job with the narration. Very entertaining.

Good plot

Whitney owner of the Nestled Hollow Gazette, the success was that it’s focus on issues and the happening of the people. The TeamUp training grounds Eli loved his job. Now going home for one and half months, wasn’t easy. He remembers the girl twelve years ago when he left, Whitney. He would be here until after the Fall Market, taking his dad’s place. His parents made him come back to run the store. For Whitney it took two years after he left, to get over hi, and she doesn’t date. Two head strong people need to talk things over, and forgiveness. Everyone in town knew what happened back then, would they be for or against them working together. Nice enjoyable story of second chances.

A WONDERFUL CLEAN ROMANCE!

THE NARRATOR LIZ KRANE. DID A WONDERFUL AUDIO! THE STORY IS SWEET AND FUN!

(4.5 stars) - what a touching story!

This is such a great story. Whitney and Eli have both had to deal with a lot of difficult stuff in their lives. Frankly, as the conflict peaked, I just wanted to hug them both - especially poor Eli. I wanted to chew his dad out so bad.

While it's an angsty story, it didn't feel contrived, & thankfully, has a lot of lightheartedness to keep it from being too much. You can see where the main characters, despite their success as adults, have gotten stuck stewing in their own emotional damage. So there's a real sense of joy when they not only find their path out to begin healing, but meet each other there!

The ending and the epilogue are really fun, too!

*Religion: some moments of characters praying for guidance, flows naturally to the story, nothing preachy
