Anyone would struggle to live up to the legacy of the great Jaxon Slate, hockey superstar and face of the league. But it's worse for me. Everyone expects me to be Jaxon 2.0, and I'm nothing more than an off-brand imitation. When I'm out and about, people see me and glance over my shoulder, hoping he's with me.

I can’t believe this is the last one in the series. Dakota and Braxton’s story is amazing. And the narrators… amazing job.

So everything he promised her he broke at the first sign of trouble. He’s an insecure emotionally stunted man who made her come and beg him back only after she gave up her book deal. The book wasn’t such a huge deal to react for his own insecurites.
