HOLY WOW

I already knew I loved SMassery going into listening to this book but the narrators just really made this book come to life. I felt like I was in the moment just a little fairy above listening to everything and watching everything happen. I will say listening vs. reading, there were some parts (certain parts that require a trigger warning and have one) that made me feel a little different than I had reading but other than that I absolutely loved it!

Possessive and Protective

Miles has been in love with Willow before she even dated his brother and has waited patiently for her. After her heart is broken and she is devastated he decides it's his time to take what is his. Willow is on a downward spiral drinking too much and just not caring about herself. Miles is going to show her it's time to wake up and does he ever. One night of drinking too much leads to a situation where Miles protects Willow in a way that up ends her life and shows her just how far Miles will go. Willow is determined to never love again; can Miles show her that he will never leave her. Miles is very twisted in his possession of Willow and goes to a darker extent then his fellow hockey brothers. Listening to this book gives you a whole other perspective and these narrators bring these characters to life in a way you feel you are right there with them. I have loved each book in the series so far and can't wait to see what will come next.

It was good

I was a big fan of the first two books but this one was ehhh ok… was a few eye roll moments of how crazy it went.

Great story. Female narrator kinda cringe

Enjoyed this book like the first 2 even though I kinda wish the author would come up with something other than a stalker storyline. However, the female narrator’s male impression is cringey and almost ruins some of the more intimate scenes. Teddy Hamilton is always fantastic and did a great job with Miles.

Teddy as Miles?!?! I can't handle it!!!!

This is book 3 and I devoured it! I’ve loved Willow from book 1 (Violet’s best friend) & Miles just tugs at the heartstrings with his love for Willow, before she even knew it. He’s definitely obsessed, but it’s kinda sweet when you start seeing the flashbacks into when they first met.

Even with Miles unaliving someone for Willow, I didn’t feel this one was AS dark as the previous two, but I could just be desensitized at this point🙃 Always check your trigger/content warnings!

I absolutely do not love Knox, Miles older brother, but I know he is book 5 so I’m hoping for a hell of a redemption arc because booooooy he’s enemy number one at this point 🥴
