The impetus to seek union with something or someone is a universal impulse that springs from within us, a force that transcends moral and ethical limitations.
There is no sin in striving for union, on the contrary, it is a sacred calling that unfolds beyond conventional notions of right and wrong.
The concept of sin, to a large extent, was a construct created to control and direct the masses of the population.
Anything that threatened the current power was labeled as contrary to the supposed “divine laws” and, consequently, considered a sin.
However, if we leave manipulation aside, we begin to see that all manifestations of love are, in essence, genuine.
Even carnal love reveals itself as a way of revering the divine.
We are human beings, biological beings who inhabit this world.
Our search for union must be directed according to our nature and current condition, and this often manifests itself through the search for emotional union, an inherent calling that drives us to strengthen bonds and connections with those who share our journey in this world.
