Excellent reader, easy to understand and instills,a feeling of "being there".

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The closing chapter, it really set the stage for the next book

A solid sequel to an intersting alt-history

I like the alternative history near future civil war America setting. I feel like the characters are a little one dimensional, but it doesn't take away from the great story and atmosphere.

woke undertones

it's a good story, but leave the liberal woke, progressive undertones out and do a little bit more research on Army TO&Es in the future.

Good balance

Really loved the book, good performance and interesting characters help keep the story interesting, and Dietz always delivers in his action sequences.
