All stories, but no “so what”

A good collection of stories for those interested in the author. Unfortunately, as a gay man with bipolar as well, I was hoping for more introspection and lessons learned from someone in a similar situation. I unfortunately did not get that and found this novel reflected more of a story of privilege and bits than what I was looking for.

Smart, funny, heartbreaking

Jeffrey's book is a love letter to every smart, neurotic, dramatic, talented, ambitious, self-hating, big-hearted queer kid. Every essay is a gut punch in the best possible way - so funny and so brilliant.

I love that I found this by happenstance. I’ve now shared it with several friends going “Omg Huntney! You’ve got to listen to this!” In a time when the buzz words are vulnerability and authenticity… laying it all out there loud and real. Just wow! Thank you!
