Unhealed wounds, a thirst for unavailable men, and years of seeking salvation in temporary homes found 21-year-old Kristin on the doorstep of a decades-older sugar daddy. She thought her life was finally about to begin. But dating Bradley was not the fairy tale she expected.

When Kristin's dangerous binge of sex, substances, and scandal landed her in a detective's office, she didn't suspect that the toughest questions would be the honest ones she had to start asking herself.

Sex, Drugs, & Soul is the true story of one woman's healing quest to discover grace within the shadow side of her psyche and behaviors. Forced to come face-to-face with her tendencies toward people-pleasing and self-abandonment amidst grief and abuse, Kristin finally realized what she had truly been missing: herself.

I was listening my favorite podcast SoSD and this author showed up in an episode of the podcast and i really liked the sound of her voice. I'm 24F and i feel a bit lost right now, but that was not why I bit the bullet and bought this audiobook. I picked it up because I wanted to hear more stories from the sugar bowl. After listening to this book I feel like it gave me what I needed and I didn't know I was looking for, the voice of someone who was a bit lost too and is finding themselves.
Now that I finished the book i'm kind of sad that it ended I hope to see more from this author. Thank you Kristin... and thank you Marcus & Lilly.

A riveting tale of redemption, using the scariest of tactics: looking inward. The Author has a unique fireside chat style that keeps you engaged.

A must read. A real page turner.

Even as a male reader, Kristin's journey as a woman still resonates with me as a male living in the world today. The people pleasing, the search for love, finding our meaning of life and discovering our passions, and in the end, finding a way to love and value ourselves is a challenge every person has and will face. Extremely good, voyeuristically satisfying, dramatically well written, captivating, and soul appeasing! Highly recommend!

From a Man's Perspective

This is a poorly written book with few notable characteristics. The writer is obsessed with herself. Though all the story is about boils Dian to her infatuation with a rich sugar daddy. The character development besides herself is weak.

The lack of depth of character development of anyone except the author.
