Sexton Blood Brothers (Sexton Blood Brothers Box Set – Books 1–4) ~~ I went into Sexton Blood Brothers expecting a fun paranormal box set, but what I got was four fast-paced, steamy, emotionally charged shifter stories that kept pulling me right along. Each brother has his own personality, his own struggles, and his own mate and I really appreciated that none of the stories felt recycled or rushed. There’s family loyalty, danger, fate, and just enough drama to keep things interesting without being exhausting.

The Sexton brothers are intense, protective, and unapologetically alpha, but what makes this box set work is the heart behind them. These aren’t just big, powerful shifters ~ they’re brothers carrying baggage, guilt, and responsibility. I liked watching how each relationship unfolded differently while still staying connected to the larger family story.

I switched back and forth between reading on Kindle and listening on Audible, and honestly, both formats worked great for me. The pacing was strong, and listening made the action scenes and emotional moments even more engaging. It’s the kind of series that’s easy to pick up after a long day of teaching ~ no overthinking, just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Overall, this was a solid paranormal romance box set with shifters, fated mates, action, and plenty of heat. If you enjoy brother-centric series where family bonds matter just as much as romance, this one is worth your time.

I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself ~ you won’t regret it.

Great adventure, and love stories

Would like it if the AI would be able to go from male to female to make it a little bit easier to follow

Author has a great imagination. You’re drawn into a world of mythical beings. Fighting for survival.
The storyline was enjoyable. There is very small course language if any at all. There are some sex scenes. Violent is kept at a minimum description. Doesn’t go into really gory details.
Narration I was a bit, disappointed in as I found it difficult to identify the characters by there voices as they were very similar. I cannot wait until AI becomes better at giving each characters, their own unique voice. Overall, I enjoyed the story.

Good ideas, poorly executed

I like the overall storyline of this book but the whole thing from the smallest of comments to conversations is super choppy. There’s no smooth transitions. If I cared enough to do research I wonder if I would find this book originally written in another language and then a program used to translate it to English?
Narration is terrible. I’ve listened to other AI read books and while none have been great there are some that do a good job (not a great job mind you!) but this one was probably the worst AI read one I’ve ever heard. Voice is too fast, emphasis aren’t put in the correct words when it’s used at all, there’s no distinction between voices and at times it sounds downright robotic.
