amazing story and narrative!!!

voice over artist has an amazing voice which kept me hooked with every word! great story line as well.

This is the perfect spot to start in the series!

This book is probably one of the darker of the shadow series, but also gives you a good taste of who the character Johnny is in introduction although I'll warn you you won't probably love him until the next book. He's so much like loki or other chaotic characters from mythology for personality that you never know which site he's truly on. But it was the perfect spot to start for me. I actually work with Michael at my job and it has been absolutely wonderful to ask him questions as I read through it. I originally started his series because one of my other coworkers had said that she had read his works and really liked it. So I started asking him about it and started with his short poem books. I have now definitely fallen in love with his sci-fi short story styles. The series has become a must read! My husband and I have both been enjoying reading these stories both on road trips as well as weekends. I 100% suggest these books.
