Betrayed, deceived, broken.

They are the only words used to describe who I have become.

Make no mistake, I let this happen.

But do you want to know the thing about letting someone into your life? It can be undone.

Lucas Rossi may think he has won this round. But I have news for him: I’m going to win every other one he sends my way.

My heart may be in shackles, but my head has perfect clarity.

Shackled Hearts is book two in the Chanel & Lucas duet, a dark mafia romance. It is part of the Chained Hearts Duet world.

I absolutely loved this story. Getting to see Lucas and Chanel's story has been great and I can not wait to see more of them as we move on into Joey's story next. There were alot of challanges in this story pushing Lucas and Chanel along. Just based on the glimpse we got of Joey and his contracted partner I can not wait to see where it goes.

Can't wait to see more!

I will admit that I enjoyed book too much much more than I did book one. I nearly gave up on book one but of course, the last five minutes of the book enticed me to purchase book 2 and I’m happy that I did. The male narrator brought Lucas’ psycho, stocker side out perfectly. His voice was super creepy. The female narrator did a great job helping us to better understand Chanell. I’m going to check to see if the same narrators are on book 3 and if that’s the case, I probably will not listen. All in all it was a decent read.

Male Narrator on point and Brought Psycho to life!
