Linked by an unbreakable telepathic bond, Dion and the wolf, Gray Hishn, were an unbeatable team. Together, they could scout a trail better than any single human, and their unique healing talent had saved the lives of their companions during their desperate flight through the frozen mountains to warn their people of impending war.

Now enemy agents scoured the countryside looking for the group that included a young healer and her wolf. And suddenly the very strengths that Dion's friends had come to rely on could mean the downfall of them all...

Who wrote the summary to this book? The book is amazing! The author's unmatched use of descriptive words, combined with the action of the story, are so intense that I find myself living the fantasy. This is what I hope for any book and Tara pulls it off with flare. I love this book and the first book in the series. My only question is, who wrote the summary for this book? It's an awful description and does not do justice to Harper's work at all. Had I not read her first book, the poorly worded summary of book two would have left me convinced not to look any further into this series. It sounds like it was translated from a C paper written last minute by a high school student in a foreign exchange program. Harper's work deserves a better summary to grab people's interest and draw them to try the books. The first few pages of her work will do the rest.

This tale takes up where the previous book ended and follows a very similar style. It is an enjoyable listen and while it is similar to the initial tale (which is to be expected in some ways) it is different enough to keep you interested, You are left wondering a little more about the character world in the installment but this all just adds to the experience in my opinion. If you enjoyed the first book in the series you will not e disappointed in this one

An Entertaining listen
