SHADOWS AND CHIVALRY studies the influence of George MacDonald, a nineteenth-century Scottish novelist and fantasy writer, upon one of the most influential writers of modern times, C. S. Lewis - the creator of Narnia, literary critic, and best-selling apologist. A unique book.

I enjoyed the book. McInnis clearly read very much of both Lewis and MacDonald to have written such a thorough comparison of some of their ideas. I will certainly recommend this book to friends.
