The Shadows of Skiary is a murder mystery set in the scenic town of Skiary, Scotland, where the atmosphere is just as compelling as the crime itself. The setting really comes alive—you can almost feel the coastal chill and see the rugged beauty woven into the story.

The mystery strikes a nice balance: cozy in tone but still moving at a steady clip. The DI and the interpreter make an engaging investigative duo, and the colorful cast of locals adds texture, along with well placed twists throughout the investigation.
The narration is well handled and keeps the pacing smooth, making it an easy listen overall.
