Awesome Narrator!

This book was so fun and thrilling to read. I'm going to start off by saying that I absolutely love the representation in Mae! Mae is an absolute queen and knows how to handle herself. I love that she's not portrayed as weak or always needing help from someone just because of her medical condition. It's inspiring really. She felt so real. The details from the beginning of the book were so effortlessly connected to the end. I really enjoyed the characters (except you know who) and the cliff hanger was *gasp* WHAT! I can't wait to read
"Chasing Hearts" now. I HAVE to know what happens next! I adored the family and friend dynamics going on as well. Pierce and Mae being childhood friends to maybe something more, Pierce and Lily getting on really well, of course Pierce and his friend Jimmy were an awesome duo, Lily and Mae's sisterhood through all the bad times was a really nice touch. As someone with a sister who is sometimes hard to connect with, it was refreshing to see such tight-knit bonds throughout the characters.
I also liked that the author dove into a
mother/daughter dynamic. I know at the beginning of the book, I was questioning if the mom was going to come back. I don't see that very often. Overall, the plot, the characters, and the scenes were all beautifully written. I had an easy time imagining everything in my head and everything felt believable. While I did guess some parts, I still had a blast trying to figure out who it was and how they were connected.

The narrator did a fantastic job and really brought the characters to life!

Very Face paced read, didn’t want to put down

I felt like I was watching a movie listening to this book. Pierce, Mae and Lily have been close friends since grade school. Pierce has always loved Mae since they were young. Pierce looks out for Mae all the time. Pierce is a police officer and he knows when things aren’t right. Mae gets a stalker

Intriguing, fun, romantic

Loved it! Character building was solid, and the story kept me guessing the whole time.

I read the book when it first came out and loved it. Now I’m so happy to own the audio book. The performance is done perfectly
