I was excited to listen to this and it did not disappoint. I’m in love with this writer already and I need more of her work ASAP.

Political arranged marriage *and* mpreg, you say? Say less.

No, but seriously, this book is really good. The characters are wonderful. The relationship growth feels real and good. The face-slapping of Virion's family and country get a little soap opera but then keep going until it becomes perfect again. It's such a short book I feel like I don't have much to say other than how much I liked it. It's really good. It does everything it wanted to, everything *I* wanted it to, and then some. I really wish the rest of the series featured these characters, but it seems like book two is several countries away. I'll probably try it out anyway. I've followed the author on Amazon to keep an eye on whatever else they write. This is great. And the narrator absolutely kills it.

This is an amazingly entertaining and fun story that is beautifully narrated. I was so engaged in this story I didn’t want to stop listening. I loved both Nemiah and Virion. They have an arranged marriage, but really find love. Their banter, respect, and journey towards love was so fun! They are so great for each other. They are so cute and many times I found myself laughing out loud. The world building was also great and I’m so excited for more stories in this world.

This is book 1 in the series by Lilo Quie called Reluctant Fae Princes. This is a little bit of a departure from some of the previous books I've read buy this author... seriously, there are no animals or shifters but we do have MPREG!!!

This was a great start to a new series and I loved the setting for this new world that's been created. It almost has a steampunk vibe with the metal, magical, and machines. I can't wait to see where the series goes, it appears to be one of her series that's guaranteed to suck you in.

The narrator did a fantastic job with the voices!!!
