The intricacies of society are experienced by Garner, an eligible, attractive and wealthy widower in an intergalactic setting. Imps, demons and others intermarry providing unique skills and abilities. Garner follows the season of a carnival attached to the most exclusive club in the universe. He meets a lady who controls three elements (earth, water and fire) in her act in the show. At the same time he is introduced to a lady at a society ball and they become inseparable. The threads and intrigues are woven masterfully by Mary K. with excellent narration by Faulkner. A good listen! I was provided with a copy of this audiobook for free in exchange for an unbiased review.
