An unusual sequence of events in "The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle" leads the legendary Sherlock Holmes to locate the precious jewel owned by the Countess of Morcar.

The story is read by a true master, Edward Hardwicke, a talented actor who plays Sherlock Holmes's associate, Dr. Watson, in the popular PBS series Mystery!

This is SO much better than other audio versions I’ve listened to. Especially the awful play version performed by Sir Ralph Richardson and Sir Ian Gielgud , also available on Audible. This reading of the actual story as written by Arthur Conan Doyle is wonderfully done - it doesn’t need an inferior version adapted into a ‘play’ that leaves out so much.

One of the better tellings

A mystery about a hat, a man and Christmas goose with secrets. This story was easy to follow along as homes and Watson unraveled the case. Slightly surprising ending.

Classic Sherlock Holmes

Always enjoy being taken away to England by way of a good mystery solved by our ever fabulous team of Holmes and Watson.
One without the other will never do.

Always an adventure

A good short story for a fun time! The Sherlock cases are always lovely to indulge, and this one was no different.

Definitely reccomend!

Severely entertaining!

Good Story with diverse characters and a proper flow of ideas and incidents. It is also short which I like very much.
