Watson introduces the tale and Holmes takes over relating the story of his friend whose butler goes missing a few days after being seen poring over one of the families locked-up documents. Edward Raleigh performs the audiobook, voicing Holmes as he describes almost pompously his methodology in piecing together the clues and solving the mystery.
