The master detective from Baker Street must solve three cases in quick succession this time: a sophisticated fraud involving a diamond gift within the circle of the English royal family, an art-loving burglar, and the mystery of the Red Mask. Sherlock Holmes sets about unraveling these highly peculiar crimes with his usual meticulousness, and Edgar Charles Watson, a direct descendant of the original chronicler, publishes them here for the first time.

This is the WORST narrator!!!! OMFG listening to this book was absolutely painful but it was a decent story and I’m out of other SH books to listen to. Please don’t employ this bafoon to showcase your work anymore. It’s like hiring a fat ugly pig with ten kids to be your pinup girl sprawled out on the hood of a car. Maybe he’s your brother in law or something and you go forces to give him a job. Well THIS is not the right one for him. I have nothing to say about the book because it was overshadowed by the annoyance of a narrator who mispronounced half the words, has an affectation of putting on an effete whisper at the beginning of random sentences, regardless of the gender of the character at hand, and only to go back to his “man voice” after a few words anyway. NOT TO MENTION that he can’t do an English accent worth squat. What exactly are the advantages? Virtual voice is honestly 1000x better.
