The reader is trying too hard

The stories are pretty good. I was surprised usually anthologies are not the best places to find horror, literature, especially given that I’ve never heard of any of these authors before. The reader tried really hard to make it fun but in the end it just sounds fake. It also doesn’t help that the voice actor only has three or four different voices to choose from and with only short breaks between stories. It feels like one continuous story that makes zero sense and keeps jumping around. I would recommend the physical book, but probably not the best choice to be an audiobook.

The titles I have always read Scare Streets. Really loved these .

The narrative at times were off.Either too slow or fast. Still loved them Will continue reading these stories.

And nothing impressive. Not one bit of ‘horror’ to be heard. Not wasting any more time on this only to find the same through out.

I couldn't finish it

Awful! A few good stories, but mostly badly written torture p**n. I have a high tolerance, but this was so bad that I couldn't finish it
