Intriguing

It continues to amaze me, the backstory that is the journey of each person’s life. Columbus’s backstory is of struggle, tenacity and faith. I love the confidence he has in himself, to others it may come off as arrogance, but it is that confidence and faith that continues to guide him in taking that next step after each struggle. A lesser man may have given up. There were a few audio challenges during the performance but, I enjoyed his stories.

Hooked

Loved the realness! The first paragraph had me hooked! We never really know what people go through.

Very Insightful

I loved that he narrated his story! I always love when I get to be told people’s stories by them. It makes the reader or listener get to literally hear it from the horse’s mouth. I’m so glad Columbus is finally in a good place in his life, and has a loving wife and family.

Columbus Short is an awesome actor and narrator! I really enjoyed the book although it wasn't long enough.

Amazingly Candid!!!

Columbus Short, really hit this out of the park. I've gone through tons of audible books, but this is my very first review. I was compelled to write something due to his unyielding transparency, vulnerability, and accountability. I'm wishing him all the best and hope to see him on both the movie and the silver screen again. Salute King✊🏿!!!
