Great listen.

I think this was my second book by Abigail Strom and it did not disappoint. In a "romance" genre things can become predictable and tedious (and that's fine, sometimes predictability is just what the doctor ordered - especially when things are anything but predictable IRL), I find that there is something fresh/different in her writing/stories. I can't put my finger on it yet...but there's just something fresh about them that makes me love it. I liked that both characters were strong and intelligent in this particular book. I liked the discussion about bigger issues (space exploration and the varying reasons behind it). I'm pretty sure I laughed out loud a few times too. Overall an entertaining listen/read.

Was there so much sex or unrealistic sex that you rolled your eyes and/or skipped forward? No

The back story... H is an astronaut and meets the h while out celebrating his friends bachelor party. Instant attraction but they separate thinking they won't see each other again. They do and that is the rest of the story.

The Romance... Instalust is forced into a slow burn due to an incident, followed by a bad decision in the story.

The drama explosion... The bad decision comes to light.

Final Notes... I did not get the decision the author made with the H backing off throughout the story.

The astronaut and the nerd
