Clay Roth is an excellent marksman and a fierce vigilante. When a stagecoach is robbed heading to Virginia City and Clay's love interest, Elizabeth, is kidnapped, Clay takes it upon himself to find the gang that killed the driver, shot a passenger, and is holding Elizabeth for ransom.

The Tate gang is traveling cross country, robbing and shooting anyone who stands in their way. Can Clay take down the gang and right their wrongs, or will he lose Elizabeth, and his life, forever?

This is an excellent short story. This book is my favorite storyline. Starting out a lady (Elizabeth) is heading to Virginia City on a stagecoach. The Tate gang robs it and kidnaps her. Clay a guy that works for Elizabeth's Father goes after her. The chase is great. Clay's main goal is getting her back because he love's her. This could also be a bounty hunting book. The hunt for the Tate gang would be the same. Lin Gilbert does a good job narrating this story. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you.
