Entertaining

Shrouds by Mae Thorn is an excellent paranormal mystery romance. C. C. Kline did an incredible job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, enjoyable, suspenseful, slow burn, romantic, and more.

Mystery and romance

A mystery with a bit of a love triangle. This had so many fun pieces to it. Laurel was quite the unique FC for her day. Connor completed her well and was able and willing to let her be herself. There are missing corpses, ghosts, and witches all adding to the mystery. I absolutely wanted to know what was going on.

Intriguing paranormal mystery

I love a good paranormal mystery. Especially when there’s a strong female lead character. The subtle banter between Laurel and Connor and the slow burn romance between the two was perfect and didn’t overshadow the plot. This was definitely an intriguing gothic story that will have you wanting more the minute you pick it up.

Paranormal Mystery

This story is about a carpenter casket builder with 2 daughters. One is following the business while the other finds peace and solitude wandering the graveyard near their home. The local lord is a nasty piece of work, but his son grew up with the younger daughter and were friends until he was sent away to school. Years later someone is digging up the dead bodies of people in the graveyard and they try to find out by whom. Narration is well done, my only complaint is there is background noise coming through from wherever recording is being done.
