In this variation, Darcy's reticence overrules his ability to voice his terse opinions about the rowdiness at the Meryton Assembly and his disinclination to dance, giving Elizabeth a wholly different impression of the tall, dark, and handsome gentleman stranger. Her first impression of Mr. Darcy is that he's adorably "shy and handsome"—and that she can't resist such a man as that. To Darcy's surprise, he finds he can't resist someone like Elizabeth and her bright liveliness of mind, either.

Not much feeling in the voice to match the words.

No angst that I could discern. This might be an acceptable preteen version. Touches all the major points of the canon, but presented in a very uneven manner, Many major events mentioned in the Epilogue. That seems a bit lazy, to me.
Three stars for the story, since Jane Austen is the basis for the characters and plot.
It was like whipped cream with no fresh fruit.

Okay premise but whole relationship moved way too quickly for the story to be believable.
