Redemption at Last

I loved it! I couldn’t stand Sin in the previous books. So glad he was redeemed and the full story revealed. I’ve been waiting so long for his audio🤣

Not too happy with the mala narrator, but I really liked the story. Was glad that Sin turned out to have a good ending.

Loved this book!

I’ve been eagerly awaiting for Sin to come out on audiobook and I was not disappointed. Sin’s redemption arc was very satisfying and seeing him fall head over heels for his woman was swoon worthy. As always seeing characters from other books was a fun addition to the story. The narrators were excellent and have the characters down. I can’t wait for the rest of the series to be released!

I discovered Jennifer Julie Miller a few years ago when I first found DaR, and from the very beginning, this series completely sucked me in. As a huge fan of alien romance, it already checked a lot of boxes for me, but what really makes this series special is the heart behind it. I’m from the South, and Jennifer is Appalachian, so her writing style, mannerisms, and dialogue just click for me. There’s an authenticity to the way her characters speak and interact that feels familiar and real. Her heroines often come from heartbreaking circumstances; many were kidnapped after aliens took over Earth. But they’re rescued by DaR or one of his many sons, and these men are honestly some of the noblest, most respectful alien males you’ll ever meet. Chivalry is not dead… even if Earth is. This series has everything: drama, humor, brotherly ribbing, emotional family dynamics, and a father whose love knows no bounds, even with all of his grown sons. The family bond in this series is incredible… except when it comes to SiN.

For most of this series (and trust me, this is absolutely a series you need to read or listen to in order), SiN has been the villain. A villain who looks exactly like Commander DaR because he is the son DaR never knew existed. That revelation alone made this storyline explosive. DaR raised several of his boys as a single father, and you just know that if he had known about SiN, he would have taken him in and raised him too. I have been waiting forever for this brother-vs-brother and son-vs-father showdown, and it absolutely delivered.

Now I’m dying for the rest of these books to hit audiobook because I am 100% an audio listener. Every available audiobook in the series available for pre-order has been pre-ordered. And speaking of the audio… Tor Thom is one of those narrators who has become an automatic purchase for me based solely on his voice alone, and Emily Sutton-Smith has quickly become the same. They’ve narrated the entire series so far, and they are an outstanding team. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves alien romance with heart, family loyalty, emotional depth, redemption arcs, and protective heroes.
