Had me on the edge of my seat

This story was darker than Meir's normal style. It actually frightened me at times. The plot was intense and the characters had a lot of depth and were quite authentic. I can't wait for the next one.

I never get tired of reading about Lucy Stone and her adventures. This like the other books has realistic and engaging characters and an entertaining plot. Leslie Meier does a great job reinventing this series and keeping it fresh. I can't wait for the next one.
