In the quaint town of Huntly, a moonlit ritual is observed by a professor of anthropology from a prestigious London university. Protected by the cover of darkness, he believes he is safe from prying eyes. But those involved in the spectacle are not ordinary creatures, and their senses are more acute than he has given them credit for.

Unsatisfied with the response from the local police force, Jenna Wilkinson arrives in Huntly to search for her missing uncle. There, she meets the detective constable in charge of the case Alan Young, and together, they set about trying to uncover the professor's disappearance.

One by one, more victims follow, and they'll have to put aside their beliefs and superstitions to save the town. But can they escape a fate worse than death?

I usually search online for reviews to find new authors, so as a rule, I enjoy most of the books I purchase. About a year ago I purchased 'Creeper' and LOVED it! I seem to remember the author didn't have other books on Audible at the time...? I'm not sure, but anyway, recently I finished a series and decided to see if this author had anything new.
This one, like Creeper, is a fun, fairy tale-ish story with just enough adult content to make it interesting! However, and this is my point about researching books/authors, I feel like the only complaint I ever have is narration, and boy is this one bad.
Like, really, exceptionally bad. Horrible. Grating. I have to keep taking breaks and listen to other books to cleanse my palette before I can come back and deal with this narrator. I just don't know what to say...I can't fathom any producer listening to this and thinking it was ok. I would literally give negative stars for performance if I could.

Started out fine, then progressively got worse. I can't believe I listened to the entire book. I should have returned it. I don't understand the 4 and 5 star reviews. Both the story and narration are bad.

NOT worth the credit

If you are a sexually repressed 20 year-old this book might be up your alley. If you’re looking for something scary, don’t waste your time. The writer appears to have taken the basic plot of the movies, howling one and two and cross them with a soft porn book
