storyline was good luv the age gap romance. narrator sucks need humans to bring to life

Virtual voice is dreadful

Good storyline. Great characters but it was hard to listen to with virtual voice. No emotion.

could not tell the voices apart.

virtual narrator you cannot tell difference between the characters. they sounded the same. both sounded like a female.

REVIEW OF VIRTUAL VOICE

THE VIRTUAL VOICE WAS INTERESTING, BUT I HAD SOME TROUBLE FOLLOWING WHEN THE MALE CHARACTER WAS TALKING AND WHEN THE FEMALE CHARACTER WAS TALKING. I SEE THE VALUE OF USING THE VIRTUAL VOICE, BUT I AM WONDERING IF AT SOME POINT, AI WILL BE ABLE TO INTERCHANGE THE VOICES WHEN A MALE VOICE IS NEEDED AND WHEN A FEMALE VOICE IS NEEDED. STILL, NOTHING DOES IT BETTER THAN A REAL HUMAN WHO CAN ADD NUANCE AND EMOTIONAL. THAT IS TRULY THE BEST. I’LL NEED TO SPEND ANOTHER 5 HOURS TO LISTEN AGAIN TO SEE HOW THE STORY SETTLES IN MY BRAIN. THE VIRTUAL VOICE DISTRACTED ME TOO MUCH. JUST NOT USED TO IT.

Virtual voice was surprisingly good

It’s not a full cast of voice actors or even a male & female but it was much better than other books I’ve listened to with virtual voice.
