Awesome Journey

Guiltly and self sacrificing is what he is. She knows she wants him but what do they have to lose. Great story.

Male Narrator Over Acting

I loved the story. But the narrators were off-putting. I did love the intensity of their connection ... Naima Simone is can awesome writer.

Sin and ink

This is an entertaining, enjoyable story. The enthusiastic way the narrators acted out this story made it that much more enjoyable.

Just The Right Amount of Angst

This was really good and really 🥵. The plot is the angst between a man and his brother’s widow who he is in love with. The tension is great but not annoying. It last a for just the right amount of time. It ends with an HEA too.

The audiobook narration was excellent! Rock Engle and Mackenzie Cartwright were good choices for these characters.

Emotional

This one caught me by surprise. I judged the book by its cover ! Way more emotional and heartfelt than I anticipated. The strain with the mother in this book sent me. In my opinion, she was way out of line, and while I understand grief makes you do crazy things, her placing blame for that grief was rage inducing. Didn’t place this in the taboo category personally - they were just two consenting adults who loved each other at the right time. With their shared history and trauma, it felt natural.
