Interesting Twist on a Classic

Sinful Cinderella is quite a departure from the original story that is so known and loved. While the story was good and the characters were well-developed, I found myself having a hard time with the darkness in both Cinderella and the Prince. It wasn't particularly because of the moral issue at hand (especially the prince) but more because it was so disappointing that those characters had evil traits! I found Cinderella to be far too vain and narcissistic and the Prince was just unlikeable from his first word to her. I'm anxious to see where the author goes with the next book.

Twisted!

So it was obvious that this novella would put a spin on the traditional story. I was expecting it to simply make everything happen the opposite way of the original story. However, Anita Valle makes the characters fluctuate between good and bad decisions. It's not until the very end that you realize the twist hasn't truly been revealed.

I think this was a cute story. I'd recommend it if you're between books and need a quickie to keep you going.

Short but good

Surprisingly short and dark but I loved it! More of a brothers grim version a little more realish. I enjoyed it and plan to listen to the next one right away!

I listened to it in one sitting. It was surprisingly good! I would recommend it.
