I would totally recommend this book to new singers. The principles will not conflict with any training they receive. As a seasoned singer, I loved the refresher. I didn't need to be reminded of the techniques I use to sing, but these 5 suggestions were well worth revisiting.

I had taken some of these ideas for granted, and hearing them again made me excited to practice singing!!!

Great for new singers or established professionals

Kind of on me for not checking the length of the audio book. I was expecting more pragmatic and technical advice though. More thorough advice and value can be found through youtube.
Summary: sing often, louder, more feeling, love it, have star attitude.
It's some fairly generic advice, and while he does allude to techniques to be practiced, they are not spoken about with any sort of specificity.

40min pep talk, Introductory lesson at best.
