This title uses virtual voice narration

Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.

When my life exploded after a stab in the ribs (NOT my ribs), I thought my life would never be sane again.

Now my Ex is behind bars, and my assistant just quit!

Being a single dad is hard enough.

All I want is to build my business and raise a happy child.

Is that too much to ask?

So, who is this whirlwind woman taking over my life?

First, she takes over my office.

Then she steals my son's affections.

Even my best friend loves her.

And now her electric blue eyes haunt my dreams.

Falling for this five-foot-nothing spitfire might be the biggest mistake of my life, or the best decision I ever made.

Ok story if a little cliche I Would rather have a live voice reading instead of virtual voice

Didn’t really like the AI voice

The virtual voice was okay. It only threw me off a few times with who was speaking but I was able to quickly get it. The plot was a cute story…but the execution was weird. The way characters said things or acted was weird. For example I don’t really get along with my mother and there is history there but I never called her by her first name. MMC is close with his mom but yet calls her Emma and then randomly calls her mom once. The whole situation with his ex was weirder behavior too. Just fair warning the author is not clear on timelines. I think it would have been better if she covered a month to a month and half of them becoming enemies to lovers then epilogue after they get married and cover. Instead she glossed over parts didn’t have clear time lapses and dropped huge relationship bombs like bam we are all the sudden saying I love you. I think the author had something going with a cute story but it just got lost.

It was okay

I liked how the enemies to lovers took time to develop. The virtual reader was pretty good, but might have been part of the reason it came off as boring.
Clean, contemporary romance.

obvious change of heart
