was great to hear a fantasy series where women are empowered and used their wits to accomplish goals and overcome hurdles

Great Pirate Adventure

Once again Jay Erickson has transported the reader in a world with action, great plot development, and memorable characters, with heart, and wit. Jillian Ng gave the women thier voices in this action epic of struggle to become a force of nature as the sea itself. I will be recommending this book for any reader that is looking for something fresh and new.

Just WOW

The story and the narration were incredible. I will listen to anything Jillian Ng narrates! Wow! each character had such a distinct voice, it was like an epic movie in my head! I loved this empowering story full of fantasy and adventure!

The Author sets colorful and easy to imagine scenarios interspersed with clever and amusing dialogue.

An engaging adventure, beautifully written. The story is told by an incredibly talented narrator. She makes the story come alive. Clever and amusing dialogue keeps the story moving at a good pace. Excellent read - highly recommend!
