Discover the bestselling fantasy adventure that inspired the show.

Fairy-tale characters take over New York City in Once Upon a Crime, the fourth installment of the beloved New York Times bestselling Sisters Grimm series by Michael Buckley.

For the first time since their parents were kidnapped, Sabrina and Daphne Grimm return to their hometown, New York City, to find Puck’s family. But the fairy-tale detectives get more than they bargained for in the Big Apple: wand-wielding fairy godfathers, swashbuckling Wall Street pirates, subway-stealing dwarfs, and—worst of all—hidden among these urban Everafters, a murderer.

This isn’t the city Sabrina so fondly remembers: the place where she spent happy, normal days with her family. Even her memories of her parents aren’t safe. As the sisters Grimm investigate the death of an innocent Everafter, they learn that their mother kept a secret from them that might lead to the heart of that evil organization, the Scarlet Hand.

Millions have fallen in love with the Grimm sisters' adventures. The books are ideal for middle-grade listeners, but enjoyable for anyone who loves a good fairy-tale twist.

“Kids will love Sabrina and Daphne’s adventures as much as I did.”—Sarah Michelle Gellar, star of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I Know What You Did Last Summer

This is a fun little change of pace for the series before things really get going back in Ferryport Landing… and we learn who kidnapped the sisters parents!

I love these books but each book ends with a cliff-hanger! So far the events make us laugh and we have been having a great time. The silly comments from the girls like Freakazoid, Punk Rock and more. Just plain fun!

ARGH!

My then 12 year old just adored this series. He devoured it and would stay up late at night listening. I would highly recommend this series for anyone in his age range. Especially if the child likes updated versions of fairy tales.

One of my son's favorite series!

I have listened to this series over and over again for years. It is perfect for listening at work. The narrator is awesome. He is able to have distinct voices during conversations between Granny Relda, her two granddaughters and various fairy tale characters.

Puck has always been my favorite character and inn this book you get to see a different side of him.

Love the series, but this is the best book
