The Coast Guard must prevent the first lunar war in history.

A lifelong search-and-rescuewoman, Coast Guard Captain Jane Oliver is ready for a peaceful retirement. But when tragedy strikes, Oliver loses her husband and her plans for the future, and finds herself thrust into a role she's not prepared for. Suddenly at the helm of the Coast Guard's elite SAR-1 lunar unit, Oliver is the only woman who can prevent the first lunar war in history, a conflict that will surely consume not only the moon, but earth as well.

Only one word for it, really. A fresh and new and very welcome addition to military science fiction. Welcome to the space leagues, Coasties.

Loved this book! Cole shines a spotlight on the USA's most underappreciated branch of the military in a unique military SciFi yarn full of great world-building and a diverse cast of memorable characters. Narrator did a excellent job bringing the story to life. Highly recommend!

Kick-Ass military SciFi!

This books nails the CG’s relationship with the Navy at a practical. I recommend this book to anyone who is innovating in the military right now, but especially in the US Coast Guard, because the pattern is persistent: the USCG has unique authorities like T14 that are required to headline a free and open society, wherever they exist - regardless of how militarized it gets.

Best USCG Book Ever

Enjoyed this. Picked it because of armored saint, which I loved. Narration was overall compelling but some pronunciations and accents pulled me out of the story.

Fun story, compelling protagonist, shaky narration, questionable physics
