I’ve enjoyed all of the CoAD novels but found this one an exceptional favorite. You will want to read Viper’s daughter first, as it sets up part of this story.
And for the record I’m 63.

I really enjoyed this one

Catastrophe of astronomical proportions brings despair and opportunists. In the end, a rainbow shot by our new heroine. Increasingly, the peoples of this land are engaging in rationality that questions and redefines myth. Could this series be moving in some direction? I really enjoyed this proto-post-apocalyptic tale. And the humor of eating demon turds.

And with her bow she shoots back
