Shane focuses on Pierre, knowing the merciless specter must not win this battle. Shane isn't afraid to die; at one time, he would have welcomed death. But it's not in him to quit. Now facing the deadliest fight of his life, Shane only has one goal: destroy Pierre Gustav or die trying.

Slater Mill's ghost

This was another good story. It kept me involved in the plot waiting to read what would happen next. Another creepy read from Mr. Ripley. I will read more from this author.

Better than the previous story

This book is better than the previous in the series. New story, but does a great job of building on the world as well as drawing together elements from the previous books in the series. Really enjoy the narrator for this series as well! Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Great Book

I enjoyed Slater Mill, as I have entire Berkley Street series . So far, I have found that Ron Ripley is a very good writer of ghost stories. Right off hand, I cannot think of a poorly written story among the many books I've read of Mr. Ripley.

Yes. There was so much going on. It was exciting!

Yes. I worried for the characters. I wondered at what was going on. It was well-written as well.

Which scene was your favorite?

When the assassin came to kill Shane and Frank. Without giving anything away, I was all =O and then =X. It was really good.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

There is no rest after death.
