SMALL FELONIES

This is a lot of short stories. Some better than others but all in all pretty good. If you like short stories you'll probably like this. I'm beginning to like short stories more. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a review. That has no influence on my review.

Like most of his books, SMALL FELONIES short stories start out routine and up until then end when the reader gets a bit of a surprise.

I have fallen in love with Bill Pronzini's stories and SMALL FELONIES is no different. With the narration by Aze Fellner you get a great listen for a great author.

An interesting set of short mysteries and evil deeds. It held my interest and I found it entertaining. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.

So disappointed...

I'm a big Pronzini fan. He's one of my favorites.
I've read all of the "nameless" novels in paper and re-read a lot of them as audiobooks.
I've read many of his stand alone novels, both western and mystery.
Sorry to say I really dislike this book. I find most of the stories to be pointless and overly clever... cute.. Other than a very few of these "small felonies", the rest stink. Many start out as interesting, but come crashing down to disappointing ends. Bad stuff from a fine writer.
