Meet William Frederick Cody, a recently liberated merman-turned-cyborg who sets off in the semi-arid (okay, desert) climate of Traxia seeking the trusty horse he’s ordered.

Instead, he’s saddled with a mischievous donkey.

The donkey unseats him at the first opportunity, forcing this merman to travel on foot through the desert under the burning alien sun.

They stumble upon Becky, a human woman who’s in the middle of having all her dreams shattered before her eyes.

William and Paco ride (...figuratively speaking) to her rescue, where William admires her very fine horse.

Once she’s safe, William makes to leave her homestead when Becky shocks him by making him a wild offer. If he protects her and her unborn child, she’ll cook his meals, clean the shanty he’ll own, and do his laundry.

She also alludes to some acts she will perform… but he’s not certain what she means. What he does know is that he’ll get to own Becky’s horse.

All he has to do is marry her.

***Note: This is a 47K story with a Happily Ever After ending and zero cheating and a really adorable donkey.

Quirky story

Another quirky, warm, at times laugh out loud story from Amanda Milo. I read this story a while ago on KU & loved it. It was made even better by Nick Cracknell’s narration. I highly recommend!

Smart A**es!

I love this book, and I love Nick Cracknal as a narrator, so I gobbled this one up, happily. Now, I dunno about other listeners, but I neeeeeed Cyborg Merman also in audio, please, Nick’s C’Vest voice is perfect!

His POV

I absolutely love when Amanda Milo writes from a non standard POV. This one is all told from the alien male's point of view, which leads to hilarity when he is trying to understand human cultural norms. There aren't any overly angsty misunderstandings and both characters actually communicate with each other. It was a lighthearted sexy joy to read.

Was good gonna look for the next story

Good Lord this was wonderful. I want a donkey so bad now but I’m really irritated that we didn’t get to see the big baddie getting murdered to death like I really wanted to be a part of that action. I wanted to see one of our cyborg main characters cut loose and really get going. in a murderous rage..

Omg!!! Squeeee I’ve been waiting for this!!! Please, please please do audio book for the next!! I’ve said it on other reviews that I left but this author and this narrator are a match maiden audiobook heaven!
