A cozy romance with guns

Lots of f**ks and hot steamy sex. This is a fun, sexy, exciting romance with guns, attitude and a lot of sass. Carla is a single mom who works, cooks, cleans, puts out (to her f**k-buddy) and must shoot the bad guys all before bedtime. It is impossible to have a conventional relationship with a man when your main job is an assassin. It becomes doubly difficult when you are squeamish after being in an abusive relationship.

Phillip, the soccer coach, had impossible odds to overcome. After playing a round of Never Have I Ever, secrets are told and opportunities become positive possibilities. You know it is love when you are your f**k-buddy get excited over the best places to stash your guns.

very interning

Sexy violence action pretty much a typical story but very entertaining the character development in my opinion was a little too slow but very satisfactory once they got to where they were going

Meh

I didn't really like the heroine. I love a good kick@$$ heroine, a la Mulan or Wonder Woman, but Carla came across as.childish a bit selfish. Oh, yes, please keep telling me how stubborn you are as an excuse to do what you want, Carla. I love it. (not) And the repetition was great, too. sigh. I have loved some of this author's other books, but this left me cold. Could NOT figure out where the romance was, but the hero seems to like to be abused by the heroine. Ugh.
