The surprise at end

Man oh man! Series getting good; not super repeating but just wish the books were longer. Not a dull moment.

Lack of continuity

You cannot have a whole story line about a character using a guillotine just to see what it feels like then switch to beheading will kill an immortal….

These books are getting shorter

I love this series and all of the crazy characters but I feel like these books are getting shorter as the series continues.
