Sorcerers Don't Sing is the third book in the Singsong City series. It is a standalone paranormal romantic comedy featuring gargoyles, elves, werewolves, witches, vampires, and sorcerers. It is packed with puns, battles, and a sweet, slow burn second chance romance between a hedge healer who used to be the grand sorcerer and the rich and powerful gargoyle who would do anything to have her again. Also sushi.

The terrible glitchy virtual voice. The shortness cute but hated every chapter change.

Cute story - terrible narration with lots of glitches at every chapter change. Nice continuation of the realm.

My favorite

I love this series! I’ve listened to all the books and this was just as fun as the first. Surprisingly, The AI voice doesn’t bother me at all and it never has. I’m not someone that “needs emotion” or whatever. When I read in my head, it’s one regular voice. I loved everything about this.

This came up on my membership recommendations and is billed as a standalone but is really the 3rd in Singsong City series. I recommend reading this one before book 2 as the story of Gabrielle's parents is revealed in a much more interesting way here. Ana suffers from both mental and physical scars but is supported by the love of her daughter and her friends. Narration: either you tolerate virtual voice or you hate it

LLM-Written Incoherent Nonsense

Basically ChatGPT failing to string together a plot and obviously failing to do so. The "narrator" is OK--also generated by an machine learning model that's passable and less distracting than some truly bad human readers I've heard. But why would you waste your time listening to this nonsense unless you just wanted to encounter an AI fever dream with whack stream of consciousness descriptions and no sense of plot while you were high or something? Spend your time elsewhere...
